Tune in A flat major (2022) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
for organ
for Nicholas Quardokus
The dialogue between solo and tutti voices is treated here generally in spans of 14 quarters, the 6/4 measure after the normal 4. A fanfare of two voices for a solo trompette en chamade begins the work, and then the five-note ascending arch is followed by its palindrome, a five note descending arch, as the solo and tuti voices call back and forth. Episodic gestures make for contrast.
