Concerto grosso in B flat major - (2003)
for harpsichord, organ and chamber orchestra (horn in F, trumpet in D, harpsichord, organ and strings)
The opening allegro announces two themes which play between themselves in a bright first movement.
The trumpet and organ are tacet as a lyrical andante for horn embedded in the strings' parallelism trades in a second "strophe" with the violas. The harpsichord as continuo decorates.
A long-lined adagio in the relative minor begins in but a few voices, moving to the larger ensemble as the intensity grows.
The finale is announced first in organ alone, and then answered in the ensemble.
