Scherzo and Fugue in C minor - (2013)
for organ
The motive for this piece is the relationship in the natural minor of i - III - v, as used for themes and in tonal relationships. In the first gesture these sonorities are expressed with a return to the tonic, and in the fugue the motive is repeated in each of these domains. The registration is suggested as terraced from a large 8' foundation, to more complex sounds of mixtures and reeds, as available and desired.
