Rondo giocoso and Fugue in G major - (2024)

A couple of "head motives" towards a theme came to mind, and over time with even the changing title of the piece, this rondo giocosa spun itself out. For the summertime, a little joyous musical fun. Many opportunities for registration for the episodic nature, I chose for this emulation to move between flues and mixtures. Enjoy.

 

 

The fugue subject, already introduce once in the rondo as part of the structure, is stated alone in the pedal, and then taken up in other voices and tonal domains.
