Little Fugue in C Octatonic - (2015) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
for organ
The scale of alternating half and whole steps offers material for counterpoint, as a subject using the minor and major third in the scale as well as lowered seventh and raised fourth pointing to a dominant region. A form involving canon as stretto and massed chords for the alternating major and minor chords natural to the scale is spun out, from a quiet beginning to forte and then return to the softer register.
