My delight is weaving,

and mine -- such a witty ditty to write!

A simple setting of this "ditty," two lines as strophes in repetition with simple runs on a neutral vowel interleaved between. The fashion of alphabet and word picture books for children is followed in Ringelnatz' little spoof, as for each line a picture in provided. The spider weaves, and a seamstress embroiders. The bird sings, and the deer springs, and so forth.
