Arabesque and Fugue in G - (2023)
for organ
With the thought of the major-versus-minor sense of tonality in mind, this little work shifts between across subsequent measures, as the arpeggios reveal the larger and smaller thirds within the gestures. A melody sings above, 'informed' by this pendulum between.

The fugue subject is built on the major tonic triad with added seventh, and also appears at times in the minor variant as well as at more distant tonalities.
