Tidbits for Three Bassoons - (2024)
Of musical tidbits, this little trio for bassoons was sketched for the delight of these voices singing together, in homophony, in canon and counterpoint and with some humor as well. The opening of five sections is in 6/8 and a strict canon.
What follows is an allegro, on of two, in 3/4, with some chromatic gestures in the lower register.
Another allegro, an imitative adagio, and then a final quasi homophonic presto. Enjoy.
