Quartet for Strings in E major - (2013)    

 

The quartet is in five movements, identified by tempo markings. A choral-like opening leads to a jaunty 6/8 dialogue for the voices, followed by a motet of crossing voices in short canonic phrases, a meditation moving from a somber C major and back into E, and a final long fugue.
