Pavane - (2017)
for harmonium
The slow, duple dance form which originated in the 16th century has sparked a number of works since its earliest introduction. This little work for harmonium is intended in part to add to the small yet growing solo repertoire for this most interesting and expressive instrument, used so often in the opera orchestrations of Strauss among many other composers.
