Little Prelude and Fugue in F sharp major - (2019)

A simple succession of arpeggios with the bottom note building a melody beneath at first and then above at measure three comprise the substance of this prelude. Parallelism completes the phrases before repeating an octave higher.

The fugue echoes the prelude, and its short two measure phrase then is immediately answered at the dominant. Thereafter stretti begin, a canon of subjects at the distance of a half note.
