Autumn Reverie - (2019)

piano four hands

for Betty and Bob Ogilvie

Autumn on the coast of South Carolina, cool and sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy, has been pleasant with all such autumn chores such as poets' tell. On a quiet evening, I attended a concert of a very fine a cappella choir on its tour from the UK, Tenebrae, and happened to share a pew with a fine couple. We talked of music and arts before and during the intermission. For them, a delightful couple, therefore, this autumn reverie for piano four hands.
