Sequim Lullaby - (2020)

My cousins, Marlene and Wolfgang, expect yet another wee one to their growing family, this next being awaited is a great grandchild. After many decades in Hawaii they settled in and live an artistically rich Sequim, Washington, which I have visited only in pictures and imagination. They have had their 54th anniversary, and so 5/4 as a time signature as well as other less-obvious references to numbers and the birth of another child suggested this piece, conceived while flying from coast to coast. And so....
