Prelude and Fugue in F sharp major - (2012)
for piano
Five-note triadic harmony sings out brightly in forte gestures, punctuated by pedals and more deliberate moving lines beneath.
The fugue subject expresses groups of three in phrases, followed by a return to the meter staccato. The short fugue races to an accelerando at its close.
