Prelude and Fugue in E flat major - (2012)
for piano
This work in two pages marked andante is a lyrical set of gentle arches, lower neighbor tones providing color beyond the diatonic tonality. A melody in the right hand is accompanied with chords and simple, moving voices.
The fugue begins with the A natural as did the theme of the prelude, becoming A flat in the development of the subject. The answer comes a measure later, and as with the prelude the textures are consistent between them.
