Prelude and Fugue in E flat major - (2011)
for piano
Opposing three-voice chords move towards one another as a rhetorical gesture, twice repeated. Additional gestures of other lengths extend the prelude as it then reprises them to its close.

The fugue is accompanied from the outset, marked "trés sonore." At this tempo and for the length of the subject itself only a few complete statements comprise the basic fugue structure, tonic to dominant and back.
