Prelude and Fugue in E flat major - organ

Prelude and Fugue in E flat major - (2010)

for organ

The quiet, running sixteenths in the manuals accompany a simple 4' statement of octaves in the pedal, in a succession of four large phrases, much like a rhyme -- a, a', b, a''.

The fugue is stated with its own counterpoint, and the answer is in the expected, traditional dominant. A pedal statement elongates this, and then elongates further underneath restatements of the subject's head motive.

5 pages, circa 3' 00" - an MP3 demo is here:

The score is available as a free PDF download, though any major commercial performance or recording of the work is prohibited without prior arrangement with the composer. Click on the graphic below for this organ score.
