Prelude and Fugue in D flat major - (2010)
for organ
Simple foundation stops sing out major harmonies over a lively pedal line, after which sequences of falling diatonic sevenths in parallel thirds answer the opening gambit. A short, quiet middle section is also built of elongated sequences of statements and answers.
The fugue subject opens with the ninth and cheerfully goes on its way. Answers in the dominant, and a short set of canonic entrances and other sequences to match the prelude fill out the fugue form to its final unison cadence.
