Prelude and Fugue in C sharp minor - (2012) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
for piano
Repeated open fifths as pedal and rhythmic motor drive the prelude as a single voice begins beneath and then rises above them. Phrases are punctuated with Baroque-like gestures, as the prelude moves through the natural minor.

The fugue subject highlighting the harmonic minor is decorated with an accompanying voice, much like the prelude's open gambit. A number of statements rush along, into a unexpected, accelerating last gesture finishes the piece.
