Prelude and Fugue in C minor - (2011)
for piano
5/8 meter moves this prelude in the minor forward with stresses on other than the bar line as a part of the gesture. A two-voiced invention for the most part, the seven measure phrase lengths make still classical proportions to this movement, mostly in the natural minor.

The fugue subject has implications for both the relative major as well as tonic minor with an underpinning to sometimes suggest both. A small reference to the prelude as final cadence ends the work.
