Prelude and Fugue in A major - (2012) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
for piano
The division of the eight quarters is 3/3/2, such that each measure ends in a light punctuation with a marcato marked to point this up. The simple harmonic structure is a set of triads rising by thirds over the same A major triad beneath rising by octaves, with a logical downward motion thereafter. A short bridge and truncated return bring the prelude swiftly to its end.

The fugue begins with the same 3/3/2 division of the eight quarters, duplets in answer for each phrase in the subject. Tonic is answered by the dominant in the normal fashion.
