Partita No 7 for Harpsichord - (2019) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
The work is predicated on a classic, five octave instrument, F to f. An extended "up best" to the theme of the first section introduces G flat major.

The relative minor affords a break from the quicker tempo, in this lento of large leaps delineating voices, the repetitions of the harmonic progression varied with additional notated decorations in the top voice.

A presto of arpeggios and rolled chords answers the lento with this rush forward in the whole.

The presto yields to a more moderate allegro, the bass voice legato as the upper voices are broken to reveal the sustained notes beneath.

And following, another presto recalls the first section's theme, in varying scale degrees.

A final fughetta combines themes and textures from the whole
