Partita No 5 for Harpsichord - (2019) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
The work is predicated on a classic, five octave instrument, F to f. A contrapuntal interplay follows a first gesture, a succession as the harmonic minor moves to the natural minor in three bars.

A small set of lyrical variations follows in the relative major, the ground bass becoming more ornate along with the upper voice.

A short snippet to preview the last comes at measure 158, and then another ornamented set of variations sings its moment in the larger work.

A last contrapuntal movement comes, a theme with invertible counterpoint moving through various harmonic domains, and cadencing after references back to the partita's other thematic materials.
