Partita No 2 for Harpsichord - (2019) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
The work is predicated on a classic, five octave instrument, F to f. A fugue in triple meter emphasizing the augmented second between the sixth and seventh of the scale in the minor opens the five part work.

A contrasting section is breaks from the opening G minor to its relative B flat major, the augmented second giving way to the spice of the scalar seventh.

A next section accumulates chords in each gesture as a method of altering the more brittle character which preceded.

A next section is intended for the "buff" or lute stop, for change of color and dalliance on another tonality suggested within the overall key signature.

A final fugue completes the work, elements from B flat major and harmonic G minor, linking the previous sections with tonal referents. The first answer of the subject is therefore in a relatively unusual relation traditionally.
