On "Schuster Polka" - (2024)
The collection -- Sammlung Koch-Wallner 1935-1937, from the Tiroler Volksliedarchiv of the Tiroler Landesmuseum -- contains hundreds of tunes collected in that era, making a wonderful archive now available online for those interested. This polka, numbered 214 in the collection, is a set of melodic sequences of jaunty repeated notes like so many folk tunes. The manuscript's year of collection is 1937.
