For the different alphabets, the transliterated above is the title for a folk song from Russia titled in Cyrillic, Калинка. A simple song, telling of the "Little Red Berry."
The first of a number of strophes reads: "Little red berry, / Little red berry of mine! / In the garden is a little raspberry, / My little raspberry! / Ah, under the green pine tree / Lay me down to sleep / Oh, lyuli, lyuli, oh, lyuli, lyuli, / Lay me down to sleep." The upbeat dance of the setting is not a lullaby, however.
