On "Čiūčia liūlia dukrytėla " - (2017)
for piano
This short Lithuanian lullaby is but two measures, repeated as to fit the lyrics. "Hush-a-bye, my little daughter" it sings, and on -- "My beloved, how many times during the day have I already picked you up, picked you up and carried you, put you down in your cradle." The little essay for piano on the tune begins with a opening gesture and then states the melody with slight variation and extension.
