Nigun for Clarinet and Piano - (2019) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
for Mania Feilcke-Dierck
A wordless song suggesting religious overtones of a Chassidic nature was suggested in part over a dinner conversation. Essentially a set of melodic variations over a triadic ground allows the solo voice to sing, chortle, and be serious at times, including a short head motive from the beloved Kol Nidre in this time of another new year and the days of awe.
