Little Prelude and Fugue in F minor - (2019) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
A gesture at measure 2 of "m3 to 4/2 to 5/1" as intervals and then their inverse at measure 4 explains the fugue's development as a melodic snippet, with the leap of the octave at measures 2 and 4 ending the fugue subject and also finding additional use in counterpoint as the fugue ensues. The reliance on the beginning minor third of F minor functions to hint at the relative major, though in this short work that is not further developed.
