Little Prelude and Fugue in B minor - (2019) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
A small change from G to G sharp in the B minor tonic chord announces the prelude and its opening written-out ornament. The two-measure phrases are like the sentences of a hymn tune, two in the tonic minor, a third in the relative major before the cadence in the minor again.

The fugue appears with a pedal, the minor seventh of the scale, the subject a three measure long, irregular set of gestures - 3, 3 and 2. As the fugue progresses, it becomes more dense because of the additional voice, which then at the stretti add to the mass.
