Little Prelude and Fugue in A flat major - (2019)   

 

After some 'sus' chords to introduce the tonality, an extremely simple melodic line sings over a pedal and two alternating harmonies.

 

 

The subject echoes the simple harmonic scheme of the prelude, and then plays out in subject-answer exchanges and alterations, including a short visit to the region of the lowered, altered seventh.
