Little Fugue in C Phrygian - (2015)

 The phrygian scale with its lowered second and sevenths is closely related to the usual minor, and for this emphasizing the second and seventh along with the first and fifth degrees of the scale allows continual reference back to the mode. The subject appears at the outset and then is used in canon treatment within the fugal structure.
