Humoresque and Fugue in G minor - (2012) ![](images/01_Little_Green_Dot.gif)
for piano
The alternation of tonic minor and a minor built on the harmonic seventh of the scale serves as the opening gambit and this harmonic relationship becomes the motive for the work in general. It is answered by a chromatic run set against parallel diatonic chords and then the half cadence.

The fugue's appoggiaturas echo the harmonic motive of before, as a fugal treatment's counterpoint is colored by this.
