Fugue for Fours - (2013)
for piano
The fourth has become synonymous with quartal harmony, as in the pleasantly consonant chords which introduce the fugue which begins as accompanied with a second voice beneath. A 4/8 signature is used as well diatonic successions of intervals of the fourth in the subject.
