Contrappunto and Fugue in B flat major - (2011)
for organ
The use of sequences and simple diatonic lines carries this contrapuntal theme forward, episodic breaks luring into other tonal domains, from C minor to G minor before a half cadence on F, and then a return of the theme to its tonic and a closing gambit of parallel triadic harmony to reinforce the tonic major.

The fugue subject is very simple, the head motive merely the dominant and tonic scale degrees and then an arpeggio with a run to announce the leading tone of the answer in the dominant. A maestoso feeling and allargando bring the fugue to a proud close.
