Concerto for Oboe d'amore and Strings - (2022)

The opening allegretto is a modified rondo form in the Dorian with repetition and contrapuntal episodes of some contrasting flavors and textures.
The adagio lirico which follows the rondo is a simple song form for solo voice in the Lydian mode, with the episode as contrast/
An andante breaks the mood of the preceding adagio with pizzicati and then imitative gestures to follow.
The allegro which ends is a simple fugue form, beginning with the opening statement in the Lydian, pizzicati accompanying the solo oboe.
